What is speaking in tongues? What does that even mean? Is it truly the tongue of the angels? If it is, which angels are they referring to, the Angels of God or the falling angels? Who came up with that lie? I’m aware that Christians are notorious for speaking in tongues shenanigans. Many pastors are encouraging their attendees to speak in tongues. Some of them even train people to speak it. They talk of it with certainty that it is the tongues of the angels. The interesting thing about it is that there aren’t any references in the Torah or the Old Testament about it. Not even the Messiah made any references to it, except Paul, of course. I have to say that Paul is a special character in the New Testament that win the heart of all Christians, and he will lead them all to damnation. If you ask me, they should replace the name of Jesus with Paul because Christians believe in Paul’s teachings than the Messiah, and they idolize him.
I remember, in the very beginning of my blog posts, I reference one of the presidential candidates Mitt Romney who once said on national television, “If I tell you a lie, you believe it, it is not a lie.” I didn’t understand the meaning of what he was saying at the time until now. He made a lot of sense because we are living in a world where people are more receptive to lies than the truth. People don’t care about the truth. The world thrives on lies. The gullible and ignorant people will believe in anything you tell them. Christianity is a cesspool for these types of people. I know, some of you reading this blog will automatically call me biased against Christian or even say that I hate Christians. But I can assure you that it is not the case at all. I was once a Christian. I was ignorant of the truth as well and somewhat gullible. I got to a point in my life where I started questioning their teachings. I became bored, and I couldn’t take it anymore. A lot of the things they were teaching didn’t add up or made any sense to me. I felt a void within, so I had to quit it. You see, my argument with Christianity is that they use the word of God for their propaganda to prey on the ignorant. They use the Bible as a pretense to draw people to worship idols.
They have deceived many, I mean, many people into their wicked endeavor. As I mentioned in the previous blog, Christianity is a train wreck, and it is a domino effect that keeps on repeating over and over. I believe, the reason some people are accepting lies is, number one, that they too lazy to seek the truth. Number two, they can’t handle the truth for what it is. Number three, they don’t care to know the truth, and they don’t want to leave their comfort zone. Therefore, they continue in the same cycle and forced it upon their children. As I stated before, there aren’t any references about the so-called speaking in tongues besides the references in Paul’s letters. You see, I can’t fully blame Paul because if you read the scriptures, it doesn’t say anything about speaking that gibberish you hear in the church. As it says in 2 Peter 3: 16 “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their destruction.”
It is out of ignorance that Christians twist many of the scriptures. The angels of God that visited Avraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and many others, always spoke in their native tongues with them. I mean, it doesn’t make any sense that God would send a messenger that can’t communicate in the native language of the person who needs to hear the message. I tell you, I don’t know what is wrong with people nowadays, and I’m not just talking about Christians. The level of ignorance in this world is through the roof. People no longer have common sense. Anyway, let’s go to the verses that most pastors use, well, that’s all them to be honest. There shouldn’t be any confusion about it. Then again, we are talking about a bunch of confused individuals. I’m convinced that most Christians suffer from dyslexia disorder.
Let’s visit Acts 2:4-8 “ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his language. 7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how to hear we every man in our tongue, wherein we were born?”
Let’s go over the verses to get the correct interpretation of this verse. Verse 4, stated that they were filled with not the Holy Ghost. But I think they meant the Holy Spirit. Please, understand that the Holy Spirit is supposedly within because the Heavenly Father is the one sending it to you. It is the Spirit of truth and comfort. What it does is, to teach you all things and bring to remembrance the Messiah’s teachings which would be the Torah (Matthew chapter 5), and other things to come. To back it up, let’s read John 14: 26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Therefore, the people weren’t screaming, jumping, rolling on the floor, and so on. At the end of verse 4, it stated that the Spirit gave them utterance. The word utterance means a spoken word, statement, or vocal sound. Verse 5, is telling you that the group of people that were there, were out of every nation. This means each spoke different languages. For example, the children of Israel scattered to the four corners of the earth are out of every nation such as Africa, America, Jamaica, Haiti, France, Spain, and so on.
Verse 6, when they came together and were confounded because every man heard them speak in his language. That means, they were able to understand each other in different languages such as Greek, Spanish, English, French, and so on. It was not all these gibberish you hear people speaking in the church, and they called it the tongue of the angels. I mean, without a doubt, it might be the tongue of the angels but the falling angels. Just imagine for a second, giving someone who speaks Haitian creole or Kinyarwanda to tell an American or Spanish person that someone is coming to kill him or her in the middle of the night. Tell me, how effective do you think my message would be? Do you think he or she will take heed to the warning or brush it off? Unless someone translates the message for him or her. I know, some of you already had in your mind that some people in the church can translate it. Translate what, the gibberish? Guys, there are a lot of demonic activities in Christianity. This religion is nothing but paganism to the core. Take a look at the mother of all churches, the Catholic church, it is purely demonic. Research the information and you will see.
Like I always say, seek God while he may be found. If you want wisdom and understanding, He will give it to you liberally. There’s no excuse for ignorance. Don’t think for a minute that you will get away with it because the Messiah died to give you access to speak to our heavenly Father. With that note, I will say Shalem.
