Let’s Talk About God’s Temple or Chuch as that.

For a long time, I have heard pastors and people refer to the buildings they worship as the house of God. We all grew up where our parents drag us to church whether we want to or not. We were taught to respect the church and most of us fear the building we go in to worship because we were told that the spirit of God is in this place. I was talking with someone not long ago, and we end up talking about the house of God or God’s Temple. I thank God that he opened my eyes that I can see and understand the secret of the Torah. Indeed, one cannot learn or understand the Torah unless he revealed it to you. Matthew 16:17 “Messiah replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.”  The thing is, you can read the word every day, but without understanding, nothing will make sense to you. Because many of us don’t understand the scriptures nor seek wisdom from God, but instead, we just believe anything someone who calls himself or herself man or woman of God or prophet of God. I will say this our heavenly Father will not deal with lawless people. Anyone who will tell you the law is done away with or teaching you doctrines that don’t align with the Torah don’t waste your time. Remember, there are many gods out there. Nonetheless, they may be referring to a god, but not the God of the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob or Yakobe.

Why do I say this? It is because the scriptures made it clear that God gave Moses and Aaron instructions on how they should build His temple. The instructions are still in the Torah that’s Exodus chapter 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, & 30 and of course, there are other references. He also gave them instructions on whom may enter the temple and the procedures on how they should offer sacrifices to Him. Hear me out, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be in His presence that individual must be number one keeping the commandments, living a righteous life before him, and that person God is the one who chose him or her. Let’s look at a few scenarios. Number one, when God told Moses to meet him on the mount. Exodus 34: 3 “ And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.” As you can see, only Moses was allowed to be there, and if anyone else was caught or animal at that moment that person or animal should be stone (Genesis 19:12). That’s to show you that not everyone can be in His presence. Scenario number two is when the people heard the voice of the heavenly Father, fear took hold of them to the point they told Moses to go on their behalf less they die. God is a consuming fire and as you see in the scriptures when His foot touched the mount it melt like wax (Psalm 97:5).  Deuteronomy 4:33 “Has any people heard the voice of God speaking from the midst of the fire, as you have heard it, and survived?”

I put these verses to say this when God comes in the midst, the place will not be a quiet place and your heart will be filled with terror. It’s not the holy spirit games people play in the church where people jump and scream, rolling on the floor kind of thing. The holy spirit is a whole other subject itself. I will put it on the back burner for now. Nevertheless, if you ever had any chance to be in God’s presence, you will immediately fall to your face down on the floor in terror shaking like a leaf or even faint. As Enoch always describes when he saw the angel of God. God is too powerful and magnificent to be in his presence. You saw the scripture in Deuteronomy 4:33, they heard His voice in the fire and survived. Yet alone, to be in His presence. Maybe the other gods and idols you can be in their presence and live and anyone can enter into their temple because they can’t see, feel, hear, smell, touch, or kill.

The third scenario is Aaron’s sons whom God killed because they used strange fire and God burn them instantly as soon they enter the temple. Leviticus 10:1-2 “Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command.  So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.” I mean, these are just a few scenarios I used. Remember David, who was loved by God, and he could not even build the Temple for God because his hands had blood and he sinned. Remember, David’s son Solomon was the one chosen to build the temple in his place. Explained to me how any individual would rent a storefront, buy a used building, or build any building and call it God’s temple. Whose instructions did he or she follow to build that temple? What materials do they use to build the temple? Does the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s presence enter into any places or building? Not according to the scriptures I have read.

God is a God of order and his word doesn’t return to Him void. My people perish for the lack of knowledge. Ignorance is what got us here in the first place. The question remains, is renting a front store or a building, putting some chairs, a pulpit, flags, instruments, engraving pictures of Jesus, the cross, etc. is the house of God? How do you build a temple for God and it is full of graven images when He specifically said you shall not make unto yourself any graven image (Exodus 20:4 and Deuteronomy 4:14-18). Oh, that’s right, the law is done away and you are saved by grace. Therefore, you can have as many graven images as you want and break the commandments because it’s no longer valid or exists, right? I know, sometimes, I sound harsh and feel with emotion like one of the readers told me. I don’t think is it much emotion though but zeal which we need to have. We are living in a time that you can’t sugarcoat the word of God. You are either for it or against it. I’m challenging you to read the books of Maccabee, Jasher, and Jubilees.

I’m here to make you think and re-evaluate the things you learned from church. As you know, I’m always encouraging everyone to first seek God and ask him to give you wisdom and understanding so that you may see the secret of the Torah. Also, do your research, and read the Old Testament and the old books.  I think I said enough. I will finish with this note seek God while He may be found. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.”
