Look, I don’t have any problem with people going to school and learning a trade for the outside world. Nonetheless, when it comes to the word of God, it is a different ball game. My understanding is that when God chooses someone to proclaim his word or relay a message to his people He is the one who gives that individual the message to convey. Understand, God had already given the commandments and instructions to Moses for his people to keep and these commandments are eternal commands. “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deut. 4:2.). Needless to say, when He uses a prophet or prophetess to relay a message is because the people are breaking the command he had already put in place and want to remind the people of the consequences that will follow when they break any of the commandments. Remember these commandments are supposed to be taught at home by your parents. You don’t need to go to a university or church to learn these commandments or the instructions. You can ask your Father in heaven to give you the wisdom and understanding to understand his commandments, laws, and statutes. If you read any passages from the Old Testament when God is talking to any prophets or prophetesses is not to teach the commandments, but He is sending a warning. First of all, God will not choose someone who doesn’t know him or doesn’t keep his commandments. You best believe that it is an individual who has a relationship with Him and is keeping the commandments, laws, and statutes. When He speaks to him or her it is either through vision, dreams, or He would send an angel sometimes to talk to that prophet or prophetess.
I feel that ignorance is the conclusion that causes someone to go and waste their time going to Bible university to learn something that is already in place. The verse made it clear in the Bible if you don’t understand what you are reading or lack the knowledge for a better term just ask your Father above and he will grant you wisdom and understanding. Of course, some people love titles and they want to show others that they are educated. Nonetheless, when you weigh and measure the level of their understanding they are found wanting. What I have observed is that most of the things people learned in a Bible university do not equip them to live a righteous life before God. These people are trained to get into the church business because it is lucrative just like any other career one learns in college. I’m having a hard time wrapping it around my head when someone has a doctor title, evangelist, pastor, and boasting that they went to a Bible University to study.
If you read the scriptures in the Old Testament you will not find such things as a doctor, teachers, evangelists, pastors as they called them in the New Testament. What you will see is the Levites who were chosen as a priesthood to do service for God, prophet, and prophetess. Understand that wisdom and understanding come from God. Like it states in James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” I can testify to that myself I was ignorant of the truth. I didn’t understand what I was reading from the Bible. Nonetheless, I prayed and I started to understand God’s commandments and the concepts. It is ongoing because there’s so much to learn from the Bible. A few semesters is not enough to grasp the magnitude of the Torah because we were not raised in the Torah. That is why Peter said what he said in 2 Peter 3:16. Matthew 16:17 “And the Messiah answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”
Unless an angel was sent as a professor. Even, if you ever see an Angel appear to you, you should worry because he is either there to kill you or give you a message. I’m not sure how one goes to a university to learn the word of God. The interesting thing about it is that the commandments are outlined in detail of the dos and don’ts in the Torah. Meaning, from Genesis to Deuteronomy you have all the instructions that you need to follow to have a close relationship with God. What is baffling is, in most cases some of the professors teaching at these universities don’t believe in God or the Torah as that. So, how can anyone teach someone about a God he or she doesn’t even believe in? How anyone teaches someone about a God that he or she doesn’t have any relationship with? How does anyone teach something he or she has no understanding of? What is the saying? Oh, practice what you preach, right? Okay, you might say to me, anyone who has an understanding of the Bible can teach. I agree with you, but you are not going to find the understanding by going to a university. If the Bible was so easily understood churches wouldn’t be so confused when it comes to the Sabbath day, New Moon, or the Ten Commandments. Neither would churches tell people that the law is done away with. Every single church carries the same Bible and each is teaching something different and most of what they are teaching don’t align with the word of God.
Get this, the majority of the so-called Doctor who earned a degree and has Megachurches don’t even understand the scriptures. Like it says in 2 Peters 3:16 “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” The majority of churches only stick to the New Testament, and they are hooked on Paul’s letters. The majority of them don’t even understand what the hell the letter is talking about but they love to quote them. Looking at churches in general you can see the result of them learning from the University because the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Let me prove it to you. Those prosperity peachers will tell their assembly if they want to be blessed they have to give all they have to the Lord. Then they will have no room to put the blessings as long they bring the tithes and offering.
It clearly says and instructs that the tithes were solely for the Levites because they had no inheritance in the land that was promised to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and their seeds. God is their inheritance, therefore, the tithes and offerings were owed to them for their services. It clearly states that we should never forget the Levites as long as we live meaning we should always give them that 10% tithes and offerings. You don’t believe me read Jubilees 32, Numbers 17, and Numbers 18. You see, these pastors never teach from the books of the law because it’s done away to them. The only time they visit the Old Testament is because they want to reach Malichi 3: 10. Although the Torah is saying something different. Why are pastors breaking an eternal ordinance? Why are churches collecting tithes and offerings? That’s pure ignorance and proves that they don’t have any knowledge or understanding of the Torah whatsoever. One will be blessed if one keeps the commandments, laws, and statutes, read Deuteronomy 28: 1-14. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The question remains, how can any of them surpass what they were taught from the Bible University unless they seek God truly so God can pour wisdom and understanding into them.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” If you do receive wisdom and understanding from God and he reveals to you the secret of the Torah, yes, you can teach those who are unlearned. What I want you to understand is that you are not going to find it in the Bible University because they are the blind leading the blind. Again, if you want to learn about God’s commandments, laws, and statutes all you have to do is ask him to give wisdom and understanding. Make sure you come empty to receive it. People, what you need to know is all the information you need is in the Bible you carry every Sunday to church. All you have to do is ask God to open your spiritual eyes so you can understand when you read it. You don’t need to go to a university or church to learn any of it. Don’t let people make you feel inferior or intimidate you with their degrees or titles. The church in general is business as usual and just for show. These scholars have been weighed, they have been measured, and found wanting. I’m just saying. Shalem!
