The Law Of Circumcision

circumcised 4

I will say this before I continue, if you feel comfortable in the Matrix and believe that the law is done away, by all means, take the blue pill and end the story. Nonetheless, if you desire to learn beyond Christianity and want to keep God commandments, laws, and statutes then take the red pill and let see how deep the rabbit hole goes. I know many of you probably heard or have been circumcised since infant. However, many of you probably never heard much about it or even circumcise for that matter. If you research the word circumcision you will find some info that says it’s for health reason, health risk, and religious practice. If you’re a Christian you may never heard your pastor talk about circumcision or should I say encourage parents to have their son’s circumcised. But you may hear your pastor tell you that it’s a circumcision of the heart not the foreskin of the flesh. Matter of fact, the circumcision of the foreskin is out the door when it comes to Christians because they believe that the law is done away with. If you are one who is seeking God and wants to keep his commandments, laws, and Statutes fasten your seat belt. Also if you are new to the truth hold on to your seat as well.

Now, if you’re new to the truth and want to know more about if the law done away with check out my blog “Is The Law Done Away With” for more info. Here we go! Circumcision, what is it and should you as a man be circumcised or get your son(s) circumcise? If you are familiar with my blogs you will see that I always encourage any readers to first seek and pray for wisdom and understanding.  Also study and research the information for oneself. 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that  needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” What is circumcision? Circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin, the tissue covering the head(glans) of the penis. It is an ancient practice that has its origin in religious rites (as showing in the picture above).

The questions you need to ask: Who did circumcision begin with? What age should your son be circumcised? Who should be circumcised?  What happened when you choose not to keep the covenant of circumcision? Can you partake in the feast days when you are uncircumcised? If I was never circumcised is it too late?

Before I answer the questions I will share this verse so you can understand that the law still stand until heaven and earth pass away as per our Messiah. Matthew 5: 17-18 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Let’s cover the first question: Who did circumcision begin with? Genesis 17:9-11 “And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.” Before I explain the verse we are going to look up the word covenant. Covenant noun: an agreement. Synonyms: contract, agreement, undertaking, commitment, guarantee, warrant, pledge, promise, indenture etc. Now that we know the definition of a covenant we all can agree that  God cut an agreement or contract with Abraham which is the covenant of circumcision. We can also agree that the covenant of circumcision started with Abraham. Not only did it start with Abraham, but it is clearly said that thou (Abraham), and thy seed after thee in their generations. Meaning, everyone who is a descendant of Abraham must keep the covenant of circumcision forever. Jubilees 15:29 “For the command is ordained for a covenant, that  they should observe it forever among all the children of Yisra’el (Israel).”

What age should your son be circumcised? Genesis 17:12 “And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.” It wasn’t only the children of Yisrae’l in the Old Testaments getting circumcised but in the New Testament as well because the covenant was ordained forever. Luke 1: 59-60 “On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father Zechariah, but his mother spoke up and said, “No! He is to be called John.” Our Messiah was also circumcised on the eight day. Luke 2:21-22 “On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived. When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to God.” I also need you to pay attention to verse 22 for those of you who claim the law of Moses is done away with; it says “when the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses.” There you see both parents kept all the rites by the Law of Moses.

Who should be circumcised? Genesis 17:12-13 “And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house or bought with money from any stranger who is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house and he that is bought with thy money must be circumcised; and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.” Who should be circumcised? Every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house or bought with money from any stranger who is not of thy seed. So, the covenant of circumcision not only apply to the children of Yisrae’l but also to the other nations or Gentiles. Now, when I say the other nations or Gentiles I’m not talking about people who doesn’t know God or want to serve Him. It only applies to those who attached themselves to the children of Yisra’el or serving God. Numbers 15:15 “One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation and also for the stranger who sojourneth with you, an ordinance forever in your generations. As ye are, so shall the stranger be before God:” Strangers referring to the other nations or Gentiles.

What happened when you choose not to keep the covenant? Genesis 17:14 “And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken My covenant.” So, you see it tells you that any man child that is not circumcised the flesh of his foreskin his soul will be cut off. let’s look at another verse to understand the term cut off. Jubilees 15:26 “And every one that is born, the flesh of whose foreskin is not circumcised on the eighth day, belongs not to the children of the covenant which God made with Abraham, but to the children of destruction; nor is there, moreover, any sign on him that he is God’s, but (he is destined) to be destroyed and slain from the earth, and to be rooted out of the earth, for he has broken the covenant of God.” In this verse however, the word cut off is much more clearer as it states everyone born the flesh of whose foreskin is not circumcised on the eight day belongs not to the children of the covenant which God made with Abraham, but to the children of destruction. It continues and says nor is there, moreover, any sign on him that he is God’s but this child or man will be destined to be destroyed and slain from the earth, and to be rooted out of the earth.

Did you know that Moses was almost killed by the Angel of God because he listened to his father-in-law and didn’t circumcised his first born son Gershom? Jasher 79:8-12 “And Moses rose up to go to Egypt, and he took his wife and sons with him, and he was at an inn in the road, and an angel of God came down, and sought an occasion against him. And he wished to kill him on account of his first born son, because he had not circumcised him, and had transgressed the covenant which God had made with Abraham. For Moses had hearkened to the words of his father-in-law which he had spoken to him, not to circumcise his first born son, therefore he circumcised him not. And Zipporah saw the angel of God seeking an occasion against Moses, and she knew that this thing was owing to his not having circumcised her son Gershom. And Zipporah hastened and took of the sharp rock stones that were there, and she circumcised her son, and delivered her husband and her son from the hand of the angel of God.” So, do you see how important the law of circumcision is? Consequently, when someone or your pastor telling you that the law is done away he or she is setting you for your own destruction. And yes, they just offer you a one way ticket to hell. Understand, circumcision is not all you need but you must keep all God commandments, laws, and statutes.

Can you partake in the feast days when you are uncircumcised? Exodus 12:48-49 “And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee and will keep the Passover to God, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land, for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be for him that is home born and for the stranger who sojourneth among you.” As you know the Passover is the first feast celebrated in the first month of the year and I’m not referring to the pagan Julian-Gregorian Calendar (See my blog on the calendar). I don’t think I need to say anymore about it.

If I was never circumcised is it too late? No, it is not too late. If you’re reading this blog that means God is giving you a chance to get your life together. You see how Moses wife took care of it quickly the minute she realized what was going on. Therefore, in your case you need to seek God concerning the matter and don’t tarry because tomorrow is not yours. To end this, I will say to you if you lack wisdom ask God he will give it to you James 1:5. Study and do your research. I need you to understand one thing, I’m not looking for anyone to agree or disagree with me. Your job is to seek God for yourself and let His will be done in your life. You can do one of these after you read this blog, you can take it and go to God for guidance or leave at the table and go about your business.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.”

  1. Definition of mutilate: inflict a violent and disfiguring injury on. “the leg was badly mutilated”
synonyms: mangle, maim, disfigure, cut to pieces, cut up, hack up, butcher, dismember, tear limb from limb, tear apart, lacerate “many of the bodies had been mutilated”
I don’t know the level of your education or the level of your understanding when it comes to the Torah. So, I will try my best to reply to you. First of all, removing the foreskin of the flesh is not mutilated. Aside from religion, if you research circumcision it something that is beneficial to any man because it keeps it free and clean. Secondly, if you want to talk about mutilated look up the procedure for a male or female who is transgender that’s mutilation according to the definition. Thirdly, I don’t know any man who gets they penis removed when getting a circumcision done. Now, let me answer you according to the Torah. The Law or the Torah is not a religion you must understand that first. The Torah was not written for Gentiles but for the children of Israel (Yisra’el). Nonetheless, if you choose to serve YAHUAH as a Gentile or other nation you must abide by the Torah. Numbers 15:15 New International Version (NIV) “The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the YAHUAH (Lord).”
The covenant of circumcision is an everlasting covenant for the descendant of Abraham and whoever wants to serve YAHUAH (God). You are saying that time has changed. Matthew 5:17-18 New International Version (NIV) The Fulfillment of the Law “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.”
The law is done away with and time has changed is a false doctrine taught by Christian churches with no verses to back it up. I have not yet seen any verses from the Bible that says the law is done away with. By all mean, share your verses. If you read your Bible you will see that even YAHUSHA whom they called Jesus was circumcised on the eight days. If our Messiah was circumcised and he clearly said in Matthew 5:17 that he didn’t come to abolish the law of Moses or the Prophets who are you serving if you feel that no one lives by ancient rituals?
Luke 2:21 New International Version (NIV) “On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named YAHUSHA (Jesus), the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.”
In case you didn’t know this is the New Testament and all descendants of Avraham or the children of Yisra’el (Israel) kept the circumcision law including Paul. Hospital in the United State when a male child is born circumcision is offered to the parents at the hospital. I could go on, but understand my blog is not for everyone. it is for those who want to serve YAHUAH and seeking understanding. If this doesn’t apply to you or you don’t believe in it just keep it moving and go about your business.

    1. Hi, Ano. Sorry for the late reply. Your question is why would Yahweh want that? I’m not sure how deep is your relationship with the Most High o r the level of your understanding. Nonetheless, Yah’s commandments are eternal ordinance. Jubilees 15:29 (Please, read the whole chapter) “For the command is ordained for a covenant, that they should observe it for ever among all the children of Israel.” This commandment is for both the children of Israel and the strangers or the other nations who attach themselves to Yah. 1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Yah remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.” Isaiah 55:11 “His word will not return to him void.
When He puts a command our duty is to follow because he knows why he instruct us to do so. After all, He is your creator.
      Jeremiah 29:11
      New International Version
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares YAHUAH, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When you are in doubt that’s when you seek Him and ask him to give you wisdom and understanding to see the secret of the Torah. I hope I answered your question. Shalom.
